So I just started playing LOTRO and like all MMOs, there is a grind. A friend pointed me to lotroextreme.com. Oh Look, a free trial of the program! But wait, you have to register with Tault first. OK, registering is free. Back to the forums, click on the program link, and get taken to the 'upgrade" page with the words, "You are seeing this message because you are currently a free member."

So...

How does one get a "free trial" copy of the program?

So if I understand you correctly, you're saying that to get the program advertised as a "free trial," I have to pay for Tault first, then if I don't like it ask for my money back?

Hmmm... Somehow I have a different understanding of what 'free trial' means.
