Darkfall Exploit - Bugged Melee Mob For Easy Gold

I didn't see it posted so here it goes.

Menhir Stoneguards, Near the dungeon west of sandstone hamlet. Try to pull the mob one at a time if you can toward the dungeon entrance. Keeping him on the outside of the wall, run to the north part of the platform against the mountain. There is a crack between the mountain and the pillar. Pull the mob there till he can hit you through the space and move back enough to get out of his reach, now melee away. Keep in mind its best to walk into him sometimes to keep his interest on you and not move back.

If you do it right the mob bugs out and you can just sit there for like a min or 2 and make 3 to 1k gold plus keys.

Enjoy.

This is not a dodge tactic which is what you are talking about.

This bugs out the mob to stand still, if you do it correctly. Where you can cast on it or melee or archer.

Where did i mention "dodge tactic"? We all know about Menhir and their lack of ranged attacks. Its not hard to figure out how to go to one of their camps and bug them.

Thanks for the submission but bugging mobs in darkfall is common knowledge by now.

Well if it works then i guess its a yay?

If that place is suitable to bug a mob, thats good enough i would assume.

/yay for me, any new spots with mobs and how-to are worthy of a yay

To the above 2 posters, that's what I figured. Giving a new location a specific location in which I have been there for a 2 weeks with hardly anyone coming by, seems to me to be an unknown location.

Anyway the bug does work, and like i said if you do it right he wont even try to attack you he just stands there. But at times you have to keep his interest and take a whack from him and then back up a bit again and he stands there.

Valid submission + excellent info.

This isnt an exploit per sae but its still good knowledge to know all the spots specificly where to make easy money + stats and skills.

The next best thing to a dupe in darkfall is free skills/stats.

This would be considered an 'exploit' since the monster is unable to return melee after you get him into the position.
