AFK Swimming Question

From what I have heard, AFK swimming no longer works because stamina runs out after a little bit and you no longer gain vitality without stamina. How would a person set up a macro to swim and then go back to land to regain stamina and then swim again? I have a perfect place but unfortunately don't know how this could be done.

You still gain str/vit/quick with or without stamina. The actual gains got nerfed a long time ago though.

Yeah. The fastest way now is Melee mobs.

Or melee people, it doesn't actually matter which one.

yes it does, melee on mobs is faster skillups than on people.

Melee does, but stats don't. Also this is debatable depending on what macro you are using.

Mounts count as mobs, so theyre viable especially if you know someone levelling up magic/heal mount

Can this get confirmed? I am pretty sure this is false, otherwise everyone would be debuffing mounts to level magic.

Agreed. This is pretty sure false info.
If mounts would count as Mobs, that would be interesting news.
Actually it raises the question if mounts give any increase at all on skills/spells (besides heal mount)

I believe you can level up on mounts (after all, it registers a hit) but only at the same rate as players.

Mounts do not count as a mob, but as another player. But it is no relevant as, as someone said, the vs. mob-bonus only applies to skills, not stats. As of right now, there is sadly no quick ways to boost your stats... Sure you can still swim, or set up melee macros but it's slow.
Expect in the vicinity of 0.25 per night(8 hours) with a good macro.
