Quick Enchanting:

An easy way to get your enchanting skill up is to make and disenchant brown
linen robes.
The robes cost only 3 Bolts of linen cloth and a coarse thread to make and
can be disenchated for 1-3 strange dusts or 1-2 lesser magic essences. You
can then use these materials to enchant your barcers with +5 HP again and
again until you reach skill level 40 where the recipie goes from red
(guranteed skill up) to yellow (good chance of skill up). At this point you
can learn a few new recipies from your trainer if you want to continue to
get guaranteed skill ups. The strage dusts and magic essences you get from
disenchanting brown linen robes will get you to at least 120 skill in
enchanting. Don't forget to train in journeyman and expert enchanting when
you get 50 and 120 skill.

That's when enchanting is still cheap and easy. I would reccommend waiting until you are in your 20's to start enchanting, that way you can find lower level humanoid camps (like the excavation site in Dun Mohdor, Lock Moden or the Angerfang Encampment in Wetlands) and gather several stacks of linen, wool or silk in a few hours. When paired with Tailoring you can disenchant a few key green items and level up the two skills together fairly easily. Brown Robes, Heavy Woolen Gloves, Colorfull Kilt and Green Silken Shoulders come to mind. Just wait until the 200+ level, thats when it starts to become a pain in the !@#$%^&*. BTW, estaimated time to reach 200 should be a few days.

How to get it up past 145?

You have to go to Darnessus to the Enchanter there and wen u get to 225 or sumtin u have to find a book or sumtin..... oh tailoring wen u can make blue items is really good or enhcanting .... my enchanting right now is 300.
