Guild sizes

I was just wondering, about how big are most guilds? Also, whats the max capacity of logged in characters for a server?

my guild has 20-25 or so people, and it seems to be a very nice size. I do think we are expanding though so maybe a few more eventually

if i remember correctly the max was around 200(256?)

i thought i heard it being somewhere shy of 500 but i'm not quite sure on that one...

there is no max to guild size BUT you can only see the first 500 members
my guild was over 500 at one point then we started kiking people
right now we are at about 380 members

The guild i'm in was at like 850 or so, but like monky said, you can only see the first 500, unless you play around with it. At one point, I could see all of the members at one time

If your on Arthas send me your char name via email (Register to unlock hidden link) and i'll see about getting you in, we are a small but currently expanding guild of around 20 player, we are currently recruiting lvl 60 actively BUT if you are under this and request to join you will probably get in.
On a side note to all you other guildmasters reading this i'm thinking about running another dedicated server purely for wow guild websites and teamspeak, why? so we all pay less, I am an authorized teamspeak reseller and I think if we could get enough guilds together we can easily all save some money email (Register to unlock hidden link) if you want to talk more.

I think a good guild with close friends should be around 60 people so that you can max raid practically anytime you want.

Theres about 300 people in my guild, and it seems to be a good size - not too big, not too small.

im in a small guild i believe only 176 and thats including the lvl 60s alts we only have around 20 lvl 60s so we cant do MC yet

you can type /ginfo if you want to know how many people you have and how many accounts are there.
So if you have 200 people, you might only have 30 accounts. Just a bunch of people with alts.
