Hi, I'm a noobie and don't know much about the game.
My friends are playing so I wanted to try it but they are
all level 40+. Is there a guide to help me start and level
quickly? Please help what character is best?

Mages are possibly the most fast class to level. They are very deadly and easy to play. Check out the Register to unlock hidden link Mage Forum's and they have a guide on some very fast and easy ways to level up using Area of Effect attacks where you kill many mobs fast.

Night elves taste better, undead are the best with better evasion, and trolls have bigger and less toes
