ne1 have tips for ppl with dial up on the blizzard downloading part of the installation?

Most people do not use the Blizzard downloader to get updates.
Try:
www.fileshack.com
www.fileplanet.com
and many other sites that host the update.

go to a place with fast internet and download, chances are that your not gonna even get a Patch up with dial up itll take FOREVER....

takes me about 20 hours or so when i use fileplanet, took me 73 hours when i used the blizzard downloader, i think on the blizzard tech support site they have a section with ways to speed up the download, im just too lazy to wait for the site to load

use a torrent. It will probably at least max out your dial up....that's only good for new patches though. I bought wow just when 1.8 came out...i did the whole update package off a torrent in well under 1/2 hour...(250mb). Broadband of course. Still only 5-8hours on dial up though.

if u have dialup? first, kill urself... second, make your nextdoor neighbor download it and burn it for you.
