More than 5 copies of an instance per/hr?

What is the story with instances, I was out of the fold for a while and still not quite caught up. I know there is a 5 something limit, what exactly is it? 5 times an hour or a day, i'd love to be able to go back in there and farm with my rogue, easiest 20g+ an hour I ever made.

best way to do it is to make 2 lvl 60 guys 
or even better, i have 3 friends that have multiple lvl 60's... i just hop on another one when i use up my 5

If you are level 60, and got a decent gear, find out which mobs you can farm on *rolls eyes* to get fast epic drops. Also, the mob depends on what class you are, might be hard for a mage to solo levle 60 elites.
