Does 'burn' (Fire mages d.o.t) interuppt poly or frost nova IF its already on your opponent?
If not is here anyway to keep my enemy from running away?

it interrups the poly but not the frost nova.. -- Breaks poly but not Frost Nova :]

yea, but how do i stop them running away?
Is there an item or do i need to get really close and use Frost Nova?

blink up and frost nova, you can catch any class as a mafge you can blink.

You can't really if they use aspect of the cheetah because that lasts forever and your blink has a cooldown.

yes but you can use your first blink to land on them frost nova then use ice bolt and they not going any where.

I'm just saying if they know you're already coming towards them you won't be able to catch up even if you have blink.

then hitem with an ice bolt because that slows them down and you will catch them.

Good point there. Only time I played a mage was til level 16 when I made Slow Fall FTW.
