head to the wetlands at about level 27. the mid east part of map is home to whelps. all of these have the chance to drop blue items, as well as a tiny crimson whelpling, which is what your after. these whelps arent tough to kill, and could probably be taken at level 25 with a melee. it may take a few hours, but at level 27 you can gain some experience while searching. i spent levels 27-31 there and managed to get two drops, which both sold for 200g! this is on the Kirin Tor server, and ive heard them going for as low as 40g on some servers, which is still a good deal considering your leveling while you search. a lot of people know about the emerald whelplings, which can be done at 35, but these get you an earlier start for that epic mount. premium worthy?
