Video file compression

Ok,this is just depressing me and i am about to cry
I have finally made my video and have it in the right format but now it is way way to large over 1gb is there a way to compress it to a smaller size?

yea the problem is that the video is only a little over 2 minutes

this is making me so mad...I have been working on this guide for an exploit for 5 days now and i finally get this far i even have the whole guide in a post ready to sumbit but i can't get the dang video to uplaod anywhere!

something's wrong if it's that much. most movies i have ripped to my computer don't even take up that much.

Yea i have ripped full length movies at only 500mb little more little less sometimes

what is it currently in? wow 1gb?! wait this is the direct vid from fraps right and no change?

yes it is directly from Fraps. While i was browsing the FAQ i saw why it is so large. Since it is being recorded in the game it doesn't have time to encode it so i have to do that. It showed a few programs taht an compress my 1.9gb avi file but so far Virtual dub hasn't worked i am in the process of trying to compress it with another program

lol i was thinking of that but I think i got it on Google video and that you don't even have the downlaod it
