Thats pretty low to do but then again im not sure what he did to deserve this. No way you can truely get it 100% if he calls blizzard and tells them his previous payment info and what has happened.

Well, if you own the SW ( Seceret Word ) That person owns the account, it doesn't matter about the credit card info, but the SW is what owns the account, after that you can change password, change SW; so he can't go back and tell them the SW and get the account back and change it. - Hope this helped

Well.. for starters you if you wanted to sell your account on Ebay they would need it to access everything; have control of the account, if not the price will drop 1/2 of the value.. That extra 500$ is for the SW if you have a good account for sale..

For example, this guy is really cheap, but does have the SW if he didn't it would sell for about 250USD
Here is an example that doesn't have an SW, and if you notice he bought the account for 600$ and is selling for 600$, and hes no longer a memeber.. I personally think this is scam but thats just my brain

Just remember your SW for later on if you quit you can sell all of your phat account for big $$ :]
TIPS FOR REMEMBERING YOUR SW
1. Pick a name of your favorite pets name
or pick it as your mothers maiden name.
2. Write it down, just down make it a .txt file on your comp and save it "my wow account" thats how your accounts get stolen, write it down IRL safe, where only you know where it is, or a Password safe on your computer..
Hope maybe this helped some other people with their SW.

you HAVE to, HAVE to tell them the SW correctly to take over the account, once you do you own it account, also you get so many tries before you can't ask for it anymore.

I called Blizzard. They said I either need the CD Keys or Secreat Word. Guy spilled out that it was a classic movie, real name nothing made up. Maybe something in the past 5 years... Ughhh seems to be popular...
Any sugestions? Account name is under his ex-girlfriends name or some female tho, so she might have put in the question.

Well, kinda low as you are cheating him out of $40 + his monthly payments, but what the hell, i have deleted peoples accounts before.
So anyway, ask him to have a look at his wow box (say you want to see the manual or something) and get his CD Key, or borrow his disks (CD Key is on cardboard sheath which has disks in it (or was for me)). Call blizz, and say its your account. Get him pwnt, the end. If you can though get hte CD key covertly.

I dont know what he did to piss you off but I would have to day you are treading down a slippery slope. You will not just be ruining his Wow account but you will be responsible for identity theft. Because there is most likely a credit card attached to this account. And odds are he will know that it was you and you will be up !@#$%^&* creek, not with him but with the law.
