Alright,this is my second guide today- ive been making huge amounts of money in the past 3 hours- i started with 7g, im now up to 167g and 20s (sold some things not obtainable in silithus) but anyways here we go.


Introduction to silithus: Silithus is the most annoying place on the face of azeroth. Even though its not the best place to hang around, it WILL make you rich; guarenteed. There are many things in Silithus which can give you money, and all of them can be obtained pretty easily. You can thank AQ for allowing you to sell this stuff for huge ammounts of moolah.


Where to start: In my opinion the best place to start with your money scavange, is at one of the twilight camps which can be found in many places around Silithus- find one and prepare for battle. Now as I said before theres several things that sell for alot here, these are the ones to look out for.

Anything with the word "abysall" in its name
Anything with the word "twilight" in its name
Runecloth
Green/blue items


Now I want to warn you, prices do vary depending on your server- im currently in Kirin-tor US.


The twilight series: The twilight series contains of- Twilight cultist mantle, robe,gloves,and boots- which drop at a very very high rate, I usually get a peice of twilight stuff 1 out of every 4 kills or so. Here on my server these things sell for about 2g each. Like I said above, loot anything with the word Twilight in it- such as the Medallions, and Encrypted Texts. Medallions sell for about 20g- and the Texts sell for about 80s a peice (the texts drop really often).

The Abysall series: This series contains any of the blue items/armors which usually sell for about 115g, you wont obtain this stuff unless your in a group and killing dukes- same goes with abysall signets which go for about 40g.

Goodies: Runecloth generaly drops off of 80 percent of the kills, being in stacks of 2 or more. You also get about 4s per kill which can add up after awile. Other than that, you'll probably pick up a few green items which can be easily sold on the AH for around 4-5g.

as a person who farms silithis regularly there are a couple glaringly wrong details in this. one twighlight gear at least on my server isnt worth what it venders for. runecloth while plentiful is wishful at best at 80%, 60% is generous but more accurate. texts are the real money in silithis and what you should be aiming for unless you can solo the templars(which wasnt mentioned in your guide). templars can make you alot of money IF your a job that can solo or you have a friend thats willing to come down and help you kill. the mobs themselves seem to have a craptastic drop rate on non-cultist green/blue/epic items, so i consider them a nice bonus at best.

it would also be nice to have an accurate assessment of exactly how much money you made over such a period of time. the whole "i sold some non silithis items" the mixture becuase we dont know if you sold of some cloth. a couple librams, or some tier0 for 50g

ya...I gotta agree with tangia on this one. The sets are terrible to AH, and the templars are soloable by most classes ( seen lots of different ones do it ) and they drop 10 text at least. so that's 15 gold right there. It's a decent spot, and your numbers are intrigueing but when you said "I sold some non-silithus items" that tells us that you didn't really make all that gold. If you had made a record of what you sold and for how much that was out of your total gold farmed that would probably be more helpfull...

Like I said guys, it varys on servers- alot of servers sell them for 1g+, i guess its different where you guys aer...and i did mention texts as a farming item
