Where is a good place to farm for vendor drops?

Because of the burning crusade expansion pack is near, my servers auction house is trash, runecloth use to sell for 2g + only sells for 1.4g and less, most epics have values 1/2-1/4 of what they use to be, farming for epics isnt as good as it use to be. So I was wondering if there is a place where the mobs drop alot of greens/greys (you know, the greys that sell for 50s-1g)
since epics arent as good anymore I need some mob to farm where there are alot of them and they drop alot of nice things to vendor.

Runecloth has been priced between 1.2g and 1.5g on our server since I began playing it :p
Anyway, good place is to solo SM. The mobs drop some nice cloth (which you could tailor and diss) and also a nice amount of gray. There are also a few boxes with grey items and the average value of the grays is around 40-60s.
If you want to make bigger cash, you can check out Hearthglen. Or, if you are really strong, solo Tyr's Hand.

you know any non elites taht drop alot of good trash for a 60.

well, I found a very large ammount of greys off the mobs in azshara it seems blizzard nerfed the runecloth drops, and buffed the armor/other grey things drop %. Hope this helps.

members of the "twilight hammer" (twilight cultists, etc) they also drop skill books which are still auctionable

if you got skinning a nice place is in felwood. just walk from the horde flying master down a little bit pass the green river (river with the green water) then you will find lvl 49/50/51 bears and i get 10g a hour with only vendor drops. Then i didnt counted the greens/skins [from skinning]

No, AQ20 drops those books.

I think tyrs hand good for grey items..also drop 5-25 silver..

They drop around 20s, not 5s.
