World first level 80 character is French !
French people just run faster it seems ... Nymh - Drek'thar [FR] was the first character to reach level 80 in the new expansion - Wrath of the Lich King ! Congratulations to him and his guild, Genesis !

In case you're wondering, there isn't too much fancy powerleveling behind that, just a healer out of group.

The first to 80 was actually done by a group started by Athene. Theres a video on warcraftmovies of how it went down. He get banned and the guy they were leveling was put back from 79 to 70. This guy did the same thing, only athene did it better.

Yea he did it using an exploit. But as for first to do it without being banned thats a different thing lol.
