I got damage control by doing what I always do, pvping on the isle. Just kill people on the isle [ other players ] and eventually when you have done the 300,000 damage, you can get the [Damage Control] Achievement.

This achievement is bugged, some report getting it after only about 10,000 damage, try it out!
