Hello All!
I recently convinced my network administrator at my college to look into a way to open up ports 3724 and 6112 (WoW's ports). One of the pieces of information that the administrator asked for was the WoW server's i.p. adresses. My problem is that I am not sure how Blizzard is set up.
Do I connect to a Master Server that gives me the list of individual servers to log into? If so, does anyone know that i.p.? Furthermore, if that is how Blizzard is set up, will my administrator also need the individual i.p.s for the game servers?
As you can see I am not entirely sure about how this game works. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated! Also, if I am asking the wrong questions, please let me know! I just want to get this sucker going!

Blizzard should provide this information in their support section. If they don't they will most likelly answer fast on a request for this information.

The reason you should ask blizzard is because you most likelly have to have a long range of IPs. Each server is actually several servers, heck maybe even the login "server" is a range of IPs. I know ffxi has quite a few different IPs you can log in through for example.
The IPs can also vary widelly depending on which region you connect to.

there are a few other ports you need open, when you try to log onto wow and it says can't connect click the help button it gives you a list of ports you need open. that link you were givin here won't help you much as I know your network admin can't open those ports for you because they are also used on bitTorrent which is the whole reason they are closed to begin with.
