Most druids go Balance/restoration because in those lines we have have our three best talents.

Fisrt thing you should do is take Mark of the Wild to 5/5
Then spec only in Balance until you have both Omen of Clarity and Natures swiftness.
Then just make sure you use a fast weapon so that you are getting max benifit from OoC and enjoy your insta cast free heals and DD's

Find a good spec? Sorry its hard answer.

Don´t play a drui, if you want a good spec at the moment :)

Because if you searching for a good spec you want to get a "winner" spec,
but where are no winner specs for druis. Let me explain this:

At first a drui look nice. Very nice. I play one in EU beta at the moment.

But take a look at the US forums.

General forums:
-- Shamane is little overpowered, druid much "underpowerd". ---

Shaman forums:
You see many people NOT playing a shamane in a pure shamane forums,
saying: I hate you. I can´t win against a shamane. *cry*

Drui forums:
Not one of them is crying in a druid forum, only many druids
crying in their own forum .... "Till Lvl.25 it´s okay,
but after that level druid sucks...."

It looks like: People that want to play a "drui" will have a :
100% Healer, 80% rogue, 80% Tank.
But they get a 70% Healer, 40% rogue, 50-60% % Tank and switching the shapes
during combat will not help to get more power.

So, if you are here, because you want some success ---> not play drui.
Having fun in PvP with drui I think at the moment is not possible,
except you like to be beaten all the time.

Perhaps a patch will help....change this...

Thanks for the tip regarding druid spec'ing. To guest: I actually play a druid now and am just about level 40. I don't get beaten around when I play, even by shamans. I have noticed that druids can suck royaly if the player can't play. Right now I am pure balance with the rest of my points in my healing lines. I have wild mark at 5/5, which I have to agree is stupid if you don't. Another trick I have learned is go main hand weapon with druid instead of staff. This allows you to use a charged item in your opposite hand to do additional damage or specific ability. Right now I have an item that stacks to my debuff spell (practically a 500 Armor debuff), which is why I don't get beaten up as much as other druids. I was in a really nice fight with a Priest the other day that was one level ahead of me. It was a good 2 min battle, he was a really good player and the battle went all over the area. In the end (I won't lie), he won the fight. But, it was close never the less. I think druids can be outstanding fighters/healers, if the right person is playing.

i have a lvl 40 druid and i suggest going feral

feral's pretty easy to work with and you don't have to worry about running out of mana (druids are notorious for this)

here's a basic feral build

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/cla ... 0000000000

you can move anything around in the balance and resto trees depending on your style of play

nature's grasp is nice, it really helps in pvp and when you get in sticky situations

all of the feral points are there to make you a killing machine

improved mark of the wild is a no-brainer

furor gives you a boost when you need to get out a shapeshifted form to heal and then shapeshift back

and nature's focus really helps when you need emergency heals (these points can be moved to improved healing touch also)

this build will only get you to lvl 60, but when you start doing high lvl instances, it's best to go resto since resto druids are in much more demand than other druid builds
