I dont imagine this is game mechanics, but i could be wrong.

You can stack newer and older versions of the same attack. May not be useful with most attacks, but with stuff like dots could end up being helpful.

Example:

my Barb can stack Vicious strike I and II for a total of 84dmg/tick.

Another Example: my barb has cunning strike 1-4 in the fight bar allowing me a lot more combo's then i would have with just the latest out.

Sorry if its something that is known.

Unfortunately does not work on spells, only combos.

but again would be Great for stacking debuffs on raid mobs and that sort.

I believe this is common knowledge. I would expect anyone that plays and uses combos to have been able to figure it out. On my DW barbarian i always use my three most recent cyclone of steel combos.

Might be a helpful tip for some, especially the stacking combos with DoT's. Meh.
