9DR Tricks - Simple way to save cash with starting character

Hello folks!

Ok, so I know I'm not reinventing the wheel here, but I found a very efficient way to save a good chunk of cash on some items, and that is to make a female character (whichever clan you choose, except Shaolin of course).

The Vagabond HP clothes, for example, as well as the damage wristbands (be they regular dmg or CK dmg) can sell for more than half of the male counterpart. Having to pay 300k instead of 500-600k with a new character for 100 damage WB can really help you a lot when starting out (as it makes the grind so much faster).

Of course, in the long run it may not be that much of an advantage, especially if you have a high level main. But, for someone that's just starting, I think it can help you get geared up much faster.

***EDIT*** At higher levels, you'll save a lot of dough on the "Mansion" clothes too, as the female equivalent of all clans sell for millions less...That's something to consider if you don't grow money trees.

(Plus, wouldn't you prefer staring at a girl all day? 8) )

Also, to maximize the effect, you might consider making a Sacred Flower character, because their clan items (Adv. med and steps, etc...)really sell for a lot less than the others. I won't go into the clan buff argument here, but for the purpose of economy, it's very efficient.

Oh, and on the topic of cash...you'd be amazed at the prices some people sell items in the "noob zones" (Shi Zang / ZhengZhou). You can often get Blood Essences for 50-60k, Ginseng for 25k, Ambrosias etc...Then it's just a matter of running to Hefei and selling it for market price.

I made most of my cash this way when starting out, and still make an occasionnal run over there to check on the poor beginner's stand :D

I hope this can be of use to you folks, and I hope to see you in the forums

I made an SF healer and I can say, without a doubt, I saved the most money on items, manuals, tomes, clothes, etc. On top of that, with a lttle role-playing, add a "hun" here, a "sure, sweetie" there and next thing you know you have all these high lvl guys "helping you out", lol. I got free BE's , free gear and other stuff. Don't get me wrong, I'm not homosexual or anything and never once did I lie to anyone about my gender when they asked but with a little roleplaying you can really cash in on being a girl toon. Just a thought.

I haven't tried this out but had told a friend of mine about it and he said it worked great. Now I'm thinking of making a second character and trying it myself.

Thanks
