I had an account for this, but ended up selling it since my main outleveled him. You can kill the other person 20 times, then the wait is like a couple hours until you can get AP again from that person.

You'll be fine if you do other stuff, quests, Dredgion, etc. If this is it, then yea, you have a higher chance of getting caught.
