Aion has been somewhat slacking off in the terms of new patch department. Do you think the giant patch is going to help or hurt aion with it being this close to wow cataclysm coming out.

Well thats not always true. Lots of games have suffered from bad patches. Thats when they dont get community feedback and just go off what they think is best...

SWG - They killed the game with a patch that changed the whole game and went to get more customers but ultimately killed their subscription base.

AC2 - They released a patch breaking the game and eventually killed it.

EQ2... They might ruin the game or not with the premium and public servers now. Sounds like it will split the community but we will see.

I havent played much of Aion like before, but when I did, it was great, but all of these games, eventually get boring, and I think Aion is falling into the croud of games like MapleStory and Combat Arms.
