Dear Tault, We Need More Out of Ya!!! : Age of Conan Discussions

AoC is the newest and possible in the future best MMO out now. AoC has had more success in it's early life that WoW had the first year they started up.

What I'm getting at is alot of exploits/cheat/tricks/guides are hitting Tault late and most the time not at all.

I'm asking the Tault gods to please push more advertisement to get more members interested in the AoC part of this site. The more AoC users with the more rewards you offer the more we all get out of this forum.

What is the competition? Maybe I'm just not looking, but I've been around here on Tault since macroing stuff in UO.

I agree though, I think we can get a lot more out of the community in AoC...more people = better chance of finding things.

I agree and I don't get it. This site is probably the biggest site of its kind out there and so you would figure this place would have all the good stuff.

As a test I looked around for the Demo exploit for instance and didn't find one thing about it. Now this exploit has been around since day one of the EA though it took Demos to level 50 to find out about it. From what I heard it was also in the CB so some knew about it even longer. Now this would have been golden to some of us who could have made use of it.

How is it possible that something so juicy didn't make it on to this site? Is it because this site overall is so large that people try to avoid posting the good stuff? Or is it that the AoC portion is not being promoted?

Its being reported that this game is one of the fastest selling games of all time.

So why is not this community exploding with guides and juicy info? We don't want gamers going to the competition, we want em here. So lets get the good stuff to this site!

i really hope people arent holding out on everyone else. doesnt that kinda defeat the nature of this site?

the speed of the internetz ensures that once a small group figures it out, an exploit will spread like wild fire across the the game and be patched ASAP. With the rate they are patching this game, there are a ton of bugs out there.

All i'm saying is that I read in another thread that there were something like 400,000 people playing. I would think we'd have more information posted than what we have here on tault.

I think it has something to do with the members of this community not liking to share something, knowing that if they share it it'll be posted and the devs or 'spies' will find out and it'll get nerfed.

Or they'll post and it'll get overused by the immature crowd not using it properly or safely and it'll get nerfed.

Maybe there is a way around this...what if all submissions and discussion sections were "Premium" and the mods reserve the right to stick the really special stuff in a section that is reserved for Gold Level Taults.

Of course, as the father of this idea, I would like to be promoted to Gold Level. =)

It's just how exploit sites are these days.. People don't post good stuff anymore because they know it's gonna get patched soon as it gets out in the wide open.

Players and their guilds wanna abuse it as long as they can. Just like Ebonlore was abusing the gold dupe that got the traders offline a week ago and still are offline.

They really are always troublemakers wherever they go.

As for us.

1) See our new layout for the pages. Its easier for new members and current members to be able to easily navigate the site.

2) The next thing is we have a new service that should be coming out soon then that is another great advantage.

3) For advertising we own. We are going to do starting tomorrow ALOT of google marketing to help spread the word even more including going to get some new affiliates as we have some new images coming in for banners.

All in all dont worry we work to make it the best around

I have access to some of the competition. I was telling tault admin about one of the sites - they copy EVERYTHING from here. (I will cancel my sub when it runs out, nothing new there ever - kinda like Tault_Broden's posts, but on a larger scale)

The other site I got access to a while ago, I have actually been posting stuff here, from there.


There is competition, but there isn't much real competition for AoC.

In part because the competitors are also all here. As soon as something cool gets posted here you see it everywhere else. I've got a couple of subs to other groups as well and nothing is ever posted in one place that isn't also in every other place within hours if it's worth having.

There are some macroing things here from time to time that are not anywhere else.

I'm glad to hear there are some things coming up.

I was thinking in regards to AoC that once the majority of people get their characters leveled and rich, they'll be more apt to post the things that got them there. So, we'll see an influx of info as the game gets a little older.

As a defense to the other sites, i have seen stuff on those sites, well before it appears here *shrug*. One of the sites is talking about a dupe bug, but it hasn't yet made it here.

One word, EXHUME

For scripters who do not wish to hunt for memory locations (such as myself) WyvernX's "Extreme" releases are invaluable.
AoC Extreme is right around the corner

Exploits almost ALWAYS hit TU first.

Yea whats even better is the new big update we have coming that will affect all forum members. Cant say anything but look forward to it in the next 2 weeks. This has nothing to do with aoc extreme though
