Dmg boost when leveling : Age of Conan Discussions

I couldnt find this anywhere, but I could be wrong

You can put lv80 gems into any level armor, and if you dont want to loose to much gold doing this, just do with your necklace, rings and cloak. They never get any stats at any level, so you dont have to change them for your lv80 suit when you reach that level. This doubled my dps on my ranger.

What you can do is put lvl 80 gems that are still marked 75 (bug) in lvl 75 armor, for sure lol Oh and you can put a lvl 80 weapon gem in a say 60 weapon too. Just does not work for armor

Works fine in armor, you just need the right gem type.

Lvl 80 gem can be used on lvl 50 armor if its cabochon/oblique gem (armor cut)

Yes I knew it might have been common knowledge to some, but I have told so many by now that didnt knew, and never saw it here. So wanted to make it common knowledge to our good little community here.

It does work in armor, just u need to use the armor gems which are marked Cabochon (flawless) and oblique (non flawless)

Oval and teardrop for 2h weapons
Rhombic and Trillion for 1h weapons

Well I'll be sure to try it again cause I am pretty sure I had the right gem type...

no blue gems in green armor same for weapons
