Anyone know of a way to make a player follow another?

If that worked for me you think I would be asking?

I was reading in the AOC forums said they took it out to cut down on boting but a few said it still worked.

/follow works for me and 10 of my mates.

You playing the US version and anyone else have the follow work?

I'll try it when they servers are back up

No im EU server.

There are a lot of posts that it does not work anymore but a few says it does.

Just wondering what the difference is.

I know the game seems to think "/follow" is a valid command but I can not get it to work.

The people I play with can not as well.

I play on the US servers.

heres what i know ...

1. need to be in a group
2. need to be in the same instance when the group is formed
3. if you (see any of the loading screens) you need to reform the group for follow to work again
4. dualbox 4tw

Dark are you on a US server.

I have two boxes side by side in the same instance killing the same mobs just can't get one to follow the other.

Using hotkey to heal with the second PC and nuke.

I have talked to some people in the game having the same problem and in the AOC forums many people say it does not work a few says it does.

Just a couple posts that people can not get it to work from AOC forums so you guys do not think I'm Crazy.

Every loading screen reforming the group made it work.

Thanks for the help figuring it out.

Getting everyone in the same instance is key here. Wait until EVERYONE is in the same instance and it works great. BUT easier said then done for the casual PUG. Since the game s so new and we are all, well n00bs, not everyone knows the commands by heart.

Being in the same instance as your group sounds minor but is a major PITA to pull off. i just imagine how hard its going to be when the groups get larger than 5-6.

I'm sure Funcom will get around to revamping the way this command and others work once they work out some of the more glaring bugs... BTW my character has been leaking poision out of his arm pit for 4-5 days now. no effect, but a funny graphical glitch all the same.
