Kill elite bosses without taking damage or healer : Age of Conan Discussions

This exploit requires a mount, and i don't know what type it is. But according to a friend he told me that his guild was farming elite boss mobs by using a mount to keep the boss knocked down on the ground the whole fight. They never took damage or needed a healer to do it. Can anyone confirm what mount has the knockdown ability? Or if this is even true?

all mammoths (maybe rhinos too) both have knockdown called sweep once trained in basic riding skill.

how is the knockdown performed and how does one train it?

there are knockdown abilities for mounts from what I have read but i don't know any specifics. ask your friend to give you more details.

with the basic Riding you get 3 ability,
1 charge to target
2 knockdown (front)
3 knockdown (rear)

cooldown is 10s from knockdowns.

I know how to do this. You purchase the horse. The horse gets a rear facing "kick" that refreshes insanely fast. IE so fast that you can almost solo keep a mob knocked down. Just have someone on a horse back up to the mob and someone else maintain aggro (or back the mob into a wall or something). Then spin around and rear kick him while everyone else beats on him. You will kill the mob and if you can control where it goes (IE have a tank keep it taunted on the tank and stand in the spot) no one will take any dmg. You can use this method to kill anything in the game that's not immune to knockdowns.


Since I'm the one who shed the light on how this actually works...can I share in the bonus? hehe.

lol. just to clarify some more. you will need the basic mount training. which is 1G at a stable master. once you train this you will get about 5-6 feats or so that train knockdowns on all types of mounts including quick dismount and charge for mammoths. once you train basic mount training and then get yourself a horse mount for 2G you can line yourself up and do a knockdown.

you need the mount and the training which isnt hard but most boss mobs summon minions which have a chance to knock you off the horse. and everyone knows that if someone farts near your horse you get knocked down cause its so broken. this is possible but before you can get it to work you will probably be killed or the tank will be killed. also if you do buck kick the boss into the wall. GG evade bug.
