PoM and ToS overpowered/exploit abilities : Age of Conan Discussions

With the world first level 80 being a priest class, there's been a lot of discussion that priests have an ability at high levels that allows them to kill lots of high level mobs at once. Any ideas? Is this an exploit or just broken mechanics in a newly released game? I'm putting this in the Guide/Tricks forums because I can't confirm if this is just a simply math error on the part of the devs or if it's a mechanic that is being exploited.

It's called AOEs + self heals.

The PoM exploit has been fixed, the ToS one with the idols I don't know if its been fixed yet or not.

I don't think he cheated. He had GM's keeping track of his progress and a guy on the EU servers who were competing to be the first legit 80. So I would doubt that he would have used anything that would be considered exploiting, but ya never know. There certainly is no shortage of people who are accusing him of using exploits on the forums.

Since warping is now fixed, the easiest way for him to prove he was legit, is to make another character to 80 - just as quick.

Chances are that he used a cheat or warp hack to get there. Also the GM's might not physically watch the character, other then to watch progress - which is standard on most MMO's. They probably didn't have a way to watch if he was cheating or not. Now *shrug* maybe they do, maybe they don't... but the test is another character - and if he cheated, he won't do it again.

Somebody posted on the official forums that Atomik got banned. I can't find the thread link but if I do I will post it here. LOL

he didn't get banned, he was ganking everyone in kheshatta today.
