Profitable variation of the treasure chest respawns : Age of Conan Discussions

A very profitable variation of the never-ending treasure chest respawn is to park a character next to:
1)Brokk the Smith alchemy table on the 1st level of Atzel's Fortress. (Alchemy drop confirmed.) 8)
2) Inside the forcefield next Shraddrizzarto, the first Boss in the Cistern.
(Alchemy drop confirmed.) 8)
Billon
Niello
Bronze
Candidum
Corinthiacum
Decorative Zircite
Hepatizon

3) Lord Suth's alchemy table on the 5 level of Atzel's Fortress. (No drops confirmed)

Park your character next to these spots. Log out. Check back in every 20 mins.. Normally alchemy materials. However there is a 10% chance there will be a recipe in the box. Cha Ching!

Much easier to do this than to kill him 100 times.
Try it out.

Please post other sweet spots if you have them.

More details...

Yes, log in and out as often as you want. Since this is an instance you will not get kicked out. Also, if Lord Suth kills you, you are still able to loot the box.

Very useful to park a mule or alt here.

My only guess is because this is a six man instance and not a raid.

Sorry but this doesn't seem to be very profitable. The chest only seems to drop alchemy mats. I have farmed it over 300 times with nothing but mats.

If others can confirm the chest does drop recipes, that's a different story.

Alchemy recipes in atzels seem to only be from Brokk the smith.

Care to post that list Tekari?

Or at least share with us the names of these alleged repices coming from the box.

Alchemy drops in Atzels at Brokk the Smith inside the Fortress

And Inside the Forcefield at the first Boss in Cistern.

log/relog every 20 mins for a chance at the recipe.

Unfortunately I cannot confirm the the recipe drop from Atzels fortress, so I will edit if possible to reflect.
