Sprint in towns without loosing stamina : Age of Conan Discussions

I noticed that I could sprint without loosing stamina in towns, and rarely outside of towns.

What you do is Hold Sprint button(Default button=Shift)+Hold right mouse button+Rapidly strafe shifting back and forth between right and left (dont hold strafe buttons, just tap em fast).

If you know why it works like this, please tell me so we can use it outside town too.

I haven't tried it, but I believe you're doing the same thing as tapping shift by tapping the strafe buttons. To test it you could hit any key multiple times while holding shift and see if it does the same thing. The keyboard is seeing the shift key, then any other key you press (strafe), then back to the held down shift key.
Just a guess though.

(Although come to think of it the strafe keys are special to aoc as well by doing other things like giving a buff when double tapping.)
