Suggestion to help the site : Age of Conan Discussions

ok.. why are we paying 20 bucks for this site? I goto Expoit submissions on a guest account, and... low and behold... you can read EVERY submission with a guest account.

and guess what!!! dun dun dun! i posted a expoit, and I goto another site and voila! there is my expoit, copied and pasted from the submission page! wow!

I am a premium member, and I can view the confirmed exploits, but it's totally !@#$%^* backwards that we pay to view confirmed exploits after they've sat on the submission page a week and get copied from this site to every other site.

why not LOCK the submission page so that you can only VIEW titles but you can't read any topics.. I'd rather have the same submissions duplicated and locked so only paying people see them, than have every free-loader freebee coming in, clicking the submission button, viewing all the latest submissions, and then logging out.

I haven't logged in once and gone to confirmed exploits. because all the valid "this patch" exploits are under submissions.

surely some other paying members have to agree that being able to see the submissions for free is lame and everyone should have to either pay or GTFO.

any thoughts idea's to fix the submissions section so that you can only post a submission but not actually read any of them on a guest account.

While your spelling is horrible, i would also have to agree.

I'm sure it would be some work on the mods end but it would probably up their revenue as well.

Well we made it public to help draw some more interest for some sections. Some sections aren't as active and it helps when things can get yays and nays. However this area has become popular enough for just premium members so.

The Community Has Spoken And So It Shall Be Done

:)

Now you cant view posts as a guest. As a register you can only view your OWN posts.

I do expect now to see more of you yaying and naying things in here. If it becomes a problem we may be forced to make it viewable by regular members :).

awesome! :) works perfectly. I tried to view as a guest and it took me to a login page. but as a member I can view all posts. should definetally help keep the expoits to the people who pay to see them and the free loaders away :) :) thanks!!!
