AOC Cheats - Easy Ranger and Magic XP - In Tortage : Age of Conan Guides, Bots & Tools

(I'm not sure if this is supposed to go here or not)

If you are a class that supports high damage over distance, you can use this guide/trick to take out some higher level mobs pretty easily, for great XP.

1. Go to the Acheronian Ruins and work your way up the steps toward the Bat Demon.

2. After the fourth set of long stairs there is normally a large spawn of Picts around level 17-19.

3. After the stairs, when you come up on the platform, there is a ledge to the right.

4. If you jump down on the ledge before or after the Picts see you, they will stand around trying to get you, but they can't.

5. I would go to the end of the ledge, where the spawn is normally pretty quick, and just start nuking.

The Picts will not venture down on the ledge and I haven't encountered one that will hit me. They stand there, fluctuating between brandishing their weapons and walking around. So, you can nuke/shoot them quite easily. There also seems to be a pretty steady flow, so happy hunting.

~~Also, I've found this to be a common thing...the system isn't handling line of site and barriers well. You can also stand on stairs and shoot/nuke and the mob will get stuck at the top of the stairs. Some of it is trial and error though.

Can members say yay or nay to this so we may give tu bucks and/or premium.

Oh yea, this works. Took me some time to get the distances right. Otherwise you get romped by several lv 18's. Line of sight mechanics not all that great yet.. Useful until they fix it.

Yeah, I actually had a video of it, but AoC's video maker thing is goofy. I have to try to get back up there...give me a few.

I'm sure this is also repeatable throughout the world in AoC...you'd just have to find the right spots. Especially useful if you find spots with the major boss mobs. Similar to Sher-Ka in SWG...

What weapons are you using here. I'm only level 13 and they keep evading my arrow attacks.

It's much easier if you are a magic class...Are you ranger or one of the ranged offset classes? (Assassin/Barbarian)

If your primary DPS is in ranged or magic, you should be able to do pretty well. If early on, your primary focus is melee, they'll evade quite a bit.

I'm a level 13 ranger. I just pick up a new bow and some arrows, I'll give it another go today.

cant find this ledge and when i get to 1 simular it says my taarget is evading

I dont think this is working anymore they regain there HP right away (evading).
