AOC Cheats - Easy Rare Resource (newer easier way) : Age of Conan Guides, Bots & Tools

After the old way (glitchy's method) got nerfed I find this out:


You only need 2 of the item you need to gather
Open resource tab and split the item into two stacks of 1
Drop 1 in the bank, then combine it back with the other stack
Repeat again
This should count as gathered

This makes it very easy to collect those rares (just buy 2 off AH and use trick). Also works for normal gathering quests.

played with this for a while, couldn't get it to work.

Can you give a step by step.

Tried to do this with Rough Leather gathering quest.

Posted on a different site no one else had problems.

Have two stacks of 1 in your resource tab.
Drop 1 item in the bank.
Move the item from the bank and combine it with the other stack in your resource tab.
Break them back up into 2 stacks.
Drop 1 in the bank again, then combine it with the other stack in your resource tab.
You should receive credit for that one and every one you do after it.

after going through step by step it does work nicely.

this does not enable you to pass the quest in without having all the resources actually asked for, BUT BUT BUT, if you got a guild, and want to get someone up there quickly to super awesome crafter, they dont need to harvest anything, just a trip to the bank.

Yes, you still need the resources to turn in for the quest

Found to have trouble with this if you have a stack rather than 2, so heres what you need to do if you have a stack.

In inventory, split off 2 from the stack, so you should have

25, 1, 1

move one to the bank, then back on the large stack.

26, 1

split off one from the stack

26, 1, 1

move one to bank, and then straight back to the stack

etc

oop's meant the only rare resource xploit

sorry, i'm level 54 now, and i have yet to figure out how to split a stack. how does one go about it? i tried shift like wow, to no avail.

Shift + Right Click

You can also hold Alt and drag it into an empty stack. It will come up how many you want to split.
