AoC Cheats - Running on water [Erm.. only some classes?] : Age of Conan Guides, Bots & Tools

This apparently only works with some classes, not really sure what causes it to work with some.. and not with others.

Don't you hate it when your about to kill someone and they jump into the water and swim away?

Well not anymore!

You have to time it correctly. Jump into water deep enough to swim, and right before you hit the water, hide.

You'll now be in the water... but you will stay in the hiding animation.

Using a directional attack will bring you out of hide.. and you are free to roam on the water, and attack, as if you were on land.


Here's a few things I noticed. When you initially hide before you hit the water.. you are now free to swim down, or stay near the surface. However, if you break stealth on the surface.. you have to stay there, if you go down you'll revert back to swimming. It also works the other way.. if you break hide under water.. you have to stay under, running to the surface will revert you to swimming.

Some classes can do this.. some can't.. dunno what exactly causes this.

Also may keep your stamina from going down while hidden.. can anyone else confirm? [Not at home]

And make sure that water is deep enough to swim in.

Yeap, works as its supposed to but as said need to hide at the right time. Its finicky that way but otherwise works.

What class are you trying this on, Hjdarwa?


After further testing.. it seems like this only works with rogue classes. =[

It looks like Mezz shot/Sneak attack are whats doing it.

I'll edit my initial post to reflect whats actually going on.

Tried it as an assassin, and yes it works.

It works also with a .... Guardian ^^
And I don't if it is a bug, but now my stamina does not go down when I am hidden.
