AOC Tricks - Beat the Anti-Speed Hack System : Age of Conan Guides, Bots & Tools

Hi everyone, im not sure if you all know this, but if you are trying to speedhack on very high speeds and are tired of getting reset, what you can do is run for about 4 seconds, stop for 1 second, run for 4, stop for 1, and if you time it right you can run extremely fast without being reset. I do it all the time and it is very easy once you get used to it :> Now the running time may very at different speeds, but i find that when i am using aoc buddy and have my speed on 500, that if i count to 4 or 5 and stop for 1, i will never be reset, effectively allowing me to run at rediculous speeds :>

if used correctly, you can save countless hours just by skipping the whole running aspect of the game which is like 50% of playing time lol.

I can't get this so work, make a movie of that it works, as I don't belive it.

or tbh, I'm 80% sure it doesn't work.

no no, its simple, to do it, just run the speed you want and count in your head how long it takes for you to be re-set, now run again and count in your head and stop one second or number before you got reset before, if you want to be on the safe side stop 2 numbers before, unless you are counting in seconds. its very simple and very useful, it saves me countless hours, but it can take a while to get your counting timing down.

so for example:

(-) = seconds
(|) = brake

dont mind the (.) it was the only way i could do spaces (which is distance covered)

basically the farther to the right the farther you go.

say it takes 6 seconds for you to be reset so:
- - - - - - (reset)
..- - - - - - (reset)
....- - - - - - (reset)
......- - - - - - (reset)
resetting pretty much gets you nowhere.

now stop one second before 6:
- - - - - |
.............- - - - - |
..........................- - - - - |
.......................................- - - - -

as you can see, you cover much more ground in a fraction of the time :D, just takes some getting used to :>.

this is just an example, it takes practice to time out the speeds, but once you do, oh man you will cover so much more ground :D

lol now becareful though, i already had a GM come to me asking me how i was moving extremely faster than normal without being reset and i basically told him it was a nvidia driver malfunction ROFL. these guys are worse than the Ultima Online GMs.

however, if you still can't get it to work and dont belive it i will make a movie, though i am concerned because i hear the video capture from conan takes up rediculous space and i probably wouldnt be able to host it anywhere :(

thanks guys :> i am fairly certain there is not much they can do about this as horses and the like will be getting reset all the time if they try to sprint and they cant have that. the most they can do is add punkbuster i think.

I would still watch out. Imagine about 50 people just warping around. "it was a nvidia malfunction". That excuse wont work for long. Then again AoC is so buggy that they will probably believe it. Just be careful.

yeah, thats definetly true, i use it only when i am alone, away from major rez points and citys. It helps me so much though because i cut my running time by like 80% :D

this would be awesome in your city resource instance. theres no one there about 75% of the time. use it during off peak hours to run from resource point to resource point. lol

this sh@t isn't neccesary just run straight. understand why it rubberbands you.

use just your W key no mouse or strafing while running and avoid flying off of hills.

when you want to turn, stop for quarter of second adjust your direction and continue.

you can run 1000% speed indefinately as long as you dont strafe/turn/skydive.

I used CheatEngine to SpeedHack just test it out, i didn't notice too much rubberbanding, just a little but not enough where the speed hack wasn't doing its job. However i stopped because idk if being rubberbanded over and over might be recorded and used later to find speedhackers, i didn't feel like i would be caught atm, but i felt they might get sent data such as this and alter have that rubberbanding player watched for a little

anyways, Since then, I didn't notice it right after, but lately I've been rubberbanding a lot, not even while speed hacking, not even having CheatEngine or any other 3pp open/attached to AoC. Is this just me, might i have a file corrupt or has everyone noticed Pathing issues since last patch?
