AOC Tricks - Easy Resources... : Age of Conan Guides, Bots & Tools

Not sure if I'd consider this a cheat/exploit.. so I'll put it in the guide section.

To start off, if you're unaware how the instancing system works: One instance spawns, as soon as X amount of people enter that zone another one opens up to make room for more.. pretty simple.

However, if your guild city is located in one of the unpopulated instances- you can port to your guild city, and regardless of the amount of people in the zone your instance will spawn with just you in it.

The resource nodes start at 1%, but you can wait a few minutes to farm the whole zone... I sat in mine all day today tabbing in every few minutes and farmed undisturbed for hours.

First off this is the GUIDES section. Pretty much everything on here is game mechanics...

In a game they just updated to make it harder than hell to even get in the same instance as your group.. I'd say spawning your own instance for resource nodes is a pretty nice trick.

But i guess you're right....

Like the quest I used to get my necro from 65-80 in one night by failing/repeating it must be a "game mechanic" too, since it's another common "Game mechanic" that if you fail quests you can repeat them... I guess I shouldn't bother posting any more "game mechanics".

It wasn't your job to judge what I posted. It's your job to say "yes it works" or "no it doesnt".

actually yes it is our job to "judge" the posts, thats what the whole yay and nay system is

i stick by my nay as this is exactly as i have said, and its not hard at all getting into the same instance as other group members, u go to a res point, then u select the insance your group leader is in and then u hit the ok button and it takes u to that instance, if u guys want to go to a differnt isntance other then the group leader, u switch lead to that person then go to that at the spawn point as well.

the whole instance selection thing is to get to your party leader to get togeather as a group. of if u guys are all in the same isntance and want to get into another just zone and and zone back in or every1 relog.

this might be a nay for me, im not saying all your posts are nay or anything just this one, wouldnt even realy call it a guide at all, nothing personal, but try again with something else and maybe you will get a yay.

It's a guide on how to get into your own zone to farm resources without interruption..

I figured i'd share a method of advancement for people who are trying to get resources with less competition. I'm sure somebody out there will benefit from it.

If this isn't what belongs in the guide section, can you explain to me what does? Its using a game mechanic to advance yourself, that's why I didn't put it in exploits or hacks.

There are some people who although they have their guild city plot, do not know that they start at 1%. They will run around for hours thinking someone else is farming them (possibly true). And because of that they will spend massive time doing nothing.
