How to buy from a trader on another server. For cheaper Blue gear and Resources.

Funcom is allowing free transfers as we all know up until the 28th. I have done this a few times so it has been tested.

Lets say my main is on a PVP server where blue items and resources cost more because of in game economies. The same item on PVE server costs a third at times less.

1. Create an alt on the most populated PVE server get him to the trader in Tortage.
2. Create an alt on your server get him to the trader in Tortage.
3. Check prices of Basalt, Granite or any Blue item you may want.
4. Mail gold from your main to the alt on your server.
5. Transfer alt with gold to the PVE server.
6. Buy items, and mail to the alt created on PVE server.
7. Transfer the PVE alt to the server of your main.
8. Mail items to your main character.

Repeat to make more money.

This will stop working in less than a week, when free transfers stop.

Hope this helps somebody. This is my first post and it isn't stolen from elsewhere. Just trying to get a Yay since you need that here to see other sections. Transfers are allowed, and buying from trader is allowed so I see no exploit.

Well this is kinda useless since Funcom have already posted that the lines is heavy over draind, so transfering a character can take a while.

so whould it realy be that good to wait 3-4 days for the character to transfare just to get maybe a gold or to extra. You can Grinde the two new instances and get more in less time.

But a nice idea tho, kinda out side the box, we like that short of things. and maybe it works for some one, but i got other things to do then transfering characters from trader to trade.

Went from 6g to 33g on my main.

Transfers took 30min on US servers for me. I did it twice and load up on city resources.

Simple economics.

Been there done that.

I made about 300g the week they open up transfers transfering mats to servers with inflated prices. Now that prices have stabilizes, its not worth my time.

gues it came a bit to late as tekari says, the economy have bin stabilized and there is not that mutch profitt to earn on it anymore.

kinda nerfed in away. and the character transfering ends tomorrow to. or 4 days after he posted it. so i need to Nay this.
