Gem Exploit (Gem Items & keep the gem) : Age of Conan Guides, Bots & Tools

Ok here is what you do, get the following items (Gem, Friend and Armor/Weapon you want to gem). Afterwards, stand next to your friend and open a trade window with him and open your inventory screen. Put the Gem into the item and as the action bar is moving, put the gem in the trade window. The gem will be inserted into the item and you will still have the item in your trade window.

You don't have to trade it, just make sure it goes into the trade window as you are inserting it into the gear.

Yep, you can ideally gear an entire set of gear w/ 1 gem.

I guess 2 gems if you count weapons, but still, extremely cheap and really an easy way to make money (just gem up some high lvl gear and then sell for a premium).

Definitely works, I am now enjoying 3 different sets of armor.

However: this can be found very easily on the internet via search.

This also works with rares when making armor also. When making the armor just drop the rare in trade window just like above. Keep using same rare over and over

Imagine buying a full set of crafted gear without gems. Then being able to fully gem it with a single gem.... i'd say its pretty darn useful myself. And these forums are not open anymore once you are a premium member from what i recall.

Yep Cantsnipe, i watched my son do it with the rares when he was making armor. Used same rare over and over

quite sure this will get nerfed soon.

too many people appear to be doing this on our server so I am just hoping they wont ban every one for this.

Especially the hardcore PVP ganker guilds have every single member equipped with gem armour.
Haev found this out while standing next to trader in OT and I was surrounded by some of these guys and they were "trading" their gems with em quite often
