ranger combo trick..(all levels) : Age of Conan Guides, Bots & Tools

So I can't count how many times I broke my own mez trying to que up a combo for an opener and had the mob or person get in melee range before it went off until now..

Start out in hide, hit the mob/person with any directional attack to mez it. Zoom into first person, look straight up in the air and start your combo. Once your combo is down to its final button que, put your crosshairs back on your target or zoom out of first person. BAM, your first shot is always a decent hitting combo instead of some weak hitting normal directional.

You can also do this in 3rd person by mezzing the target then spinning around and firing off the first few shots in the que until the final one. Works incredibly well with crossbow combos as they hit way harder then most bow combos.

Im not sure if this would be considered an exploit or working game mechanics but, give it a try. Definitely gives you a huge advantage in pvp over the traditional method of breaking the mez early.

ya it is part of game mechanics but it is a very cruicial part of pvp for a ranger to not break mez with the weak combo starters. i say /yay for points for helping newbies understand how to break mez
