Ranger Double Damage : Age of Conan Discussions

okay i know this exist cuz i seen some players post their xbow damage, but i just dont know how its done. Xbow damage currently at max with buffs + gem seems to be 600 or so, but people ont he forums are posting weapon damage at 1000 to 1200! this could mean isntead of the 900 damage on xbow you could be doing 1800 damage easily!!! a crit for at least 3600 on white dmg!! its insane. but i dont know how its done but i know its out there. If anyone knows how this would be great.

i can tell you and its no secret really. equip all items in your gear with best +damage gems for the weapon you use. and your kinda good to go.
So basically with gems you can increase weapon damage 8.9(gems) x 3 (items) x 12 (slots) = 320 damge on your bow.

And concidering bow vs xbow . bow wins cause you get the same amount of xbow gems and bow is faster .

no i already know that , with full gem set you will probably max at only 600. The only thing i can think of is you get buff from other people but i highy doubt there is a buff that gives so much dmg multipler.

It was probably a Guardian in frenzy stance posting that. I dont believe there is a way for a ranger to get it that high.

mippo and acolonyofrabbits are both very well known rangers. I doubt they will do something this stupid. Maybe but who knows.

its because he use ambush just before he takes screenie, which increases his dmg for 200% so his actual dps is only 400 something

ic so does that mean it doesnt really work?

all hes gear is stacked with Damage Gems.

My Pole did 2600-3400 DMG.
