A tad upset about new liscensing : DAOC Discussion

Well a while back I noticed their was some unknown problem with my Paypal account for some unknown reason to me or my wife we can not use that account anylonger and that happen to be the place I stored my member information for this. About a month prior to you guys upgrading this site I asked if their was anyway I can retify this situation by sending some PMs to Admin. However I never got a response and I have an account that is still good till August 28. So now I find myself unable to use account through software and can not get this account upgraded to premium on site. You guys are very talented and yes you make a really good peice of software however your customer support is nothing to be desired for. I am posting publically so maybe someone would be willing to give me some advice on rectifing this situation so I can actually feel like I got my years worth from my money I spent. Thank you and keep up the wonderful programming guys but please dont just dismiss every person that has trouble with something concerning liscensing.

I have also really been wanting to be able to post some scripts to your scripts section for a lifetime membership I have made a few really solid ones but I will never be able to post them if I cant even see the area

It probably just got missed or overlooked by mistake.

However, if you cannot log into paypal and do not have your xu key and password, it will be really hard to prove that you actually own a key. If you cannot login to paypal, call them. They have 24 hour customer support staff that will let you get back in to your account so you can get your subscription ID to prove that you purchased a key.

Next, if you have the same email that you used to purchase the key from, admin can look up that email. But, you will need to email admin from that email account to prove that you still own it. Admin will send your key info to that email address. You can also use the lost password link on the client to do this part automatically.


You can also check your old emails if you saved it for your key and/or subscription id.



Without one of those, it will be really hard to prove you are who you say you are.
