DX Toggle and RC10 : DAOC Discussion

When trying to click on DX toggle hack in the new version, daoc crash in the same manner as if Xunleashed would have been terminated.

Try removing the plugin and reinstalling it.

Also, DO NOT use Unsafehooking.

DO NOT use unsafehooking?
hope i didnt mess up the version notes at load up said to use unsafehooking for daoc.

I've tried this still no joy.


BTW I'm on the euro servers, so I don't use the unsafe hooking feature

here is how i got it to work last night.
i totaly removed xu from my system deleted the whole thing.
Then downloaded the service and the plug ins and reinstalled it all iam working great today. looking forward to the radar getting update

tried reinstall completly and no luck.
Dont have unsafe hooking checked.

Other irritating bugs with RC10 are if u alt+tab and try to open something else like ure browser, it wont let ya until 3+ tries

!@#$%^* what checkboxes do you have checked on the options tab?

Also, what plugins do you have installed and checked?

Auto Update Plugins
Use Random Filenames


the standard plugins and DX toggle, Daoc Map and Daoc Salvage Calculator

You should also have ignore directinput checked.

Uncheck the dx salvage, and dx map and dx service.


Have you done FULL windows updates and critical patches and service packs installed for your OS?

Are you running SI or TOA?

Also, uncheck the TCPIP packet sniffer

and CHECK the windows input service

and the dx 8-9 toggle hack SHOULD be version 1.0.0.31

it got RC11 before i could try.
Now i cant start it at all, logged in as administrator but says XU needs administrator to function.

same problem and same result kicked from game )

it was perfect up to yesterday morning ( french hours )

You should not be on RC 11. You should be on RC 12. It fixed a bunch of problems.
