Interested in DAOC MegaBot v2.6 but hesitant : DAOC Discussion

Okay so i've been debating about this for a while and now i think is a good time to ask and make a decision.

Basically, I used to play on mordred and since i am an adventurer i never had the time to reach level 50 so I hate the fact mythic allowed the /level command.

every time i want to try a new class i have to go through hell although i do have a few scattered all over.

My highest (on mordred) is a necro-36 and a bonedancer-31.

I would like some feedback in regards to how good the bot is .. how many levels can it get me? what areas does it prefer? will it work with catacombs? (i dont mean the new areas -- just the client).

any help is greatly appreciated as it will help me in deciding on the purchase of xunleashed.

The bot is currently broke until RC 14 for xunleashed is released.

oh ok. and i assume by you not mentioning a time because you dont know when you'll release rc 14 ?

I believe to my knowledge that the bot wont currently function with Catacombs.. =( Rich is finsihing the end here.. and I dont think he is going to put in Catacombs

The bot it self... well... is really reall well.. Myself (I knew how to set the .ini just right tho) got from 20-50 using the bot... so it function fairly well

Now it does have trouble with caster ( I wrote the .ini for it and it is weak for a caster) but when it comes to a tank... that when this bot goes to busissnes.

The perfect spot was for me anything that has 5-6 blues with a decent spawn rate... This is because almost all tank classes can take blues on.... and the spawn must be decent so your not waiting around to long.

any chance someone can get back to me in regards to when RC 14 will become available? i'd like to make my final decision.

also, one important thing: how detectable is this?

Yes i know an idiot will always get caught.

I do plan on monitoring the system while the bot is in use.

Welll i dont think it will work right now... without Rc14? correect Wyv? But i ran the bot from 45-50 during the waves of banning and i did not get caught.. I slept and let it run... so it doesnt have to be monitored... it does stuff if die.. it will accept rezzes and stuff so it failry capable of doing it own stuff.. once the Rc14 comes out i will give u a movie..

Would this Megabot work if i did not have catacombs? because it sounds like a good program, im not 18 and i cannot pay for a membership for XU so if someone could tell me where to find this bot, i could really use it. I hear that its not going to work until something new comes out, now is it because of mythics updated hardware,catacombs, or what?
