So what's going on with the radar stuff. : DAOC Discussion

I saw on herald that they had found a way to ban ppl who use the radar, more likely by checking if a program access to the client memory if I'm not wrong.

I though it was the end of the radar but I still see ppl who are making obvious use of it. I didn't reinstall XU since I came back to DAoC and I miss my precious, but I don't want to get banned so my question is, it is safe now to use XU?

Did you change the way you access to the client information or something that made it undetectable again?

Nope i would suggest not using it. I was just banned both of my accounts for XU. !@#$%^* one account the band was my damn bot account wich sat at CS doing nothing. And if u have XU running on one client is auto kicks on when u log another client in. So im double screwed. So my recommendation is run, run away never resubscribe, cuz i sure wont.

The DUService was detectable a while back, during round 2 when they suspended over 500 people.

Since then I have added quite a bit of antidetection stuff.

I have yet to get banned, and also lots of others are still using it without bans. Just be careful and dont get appealed in game.

Was just suspended for 7 days due to a violation of codes 13, 14, and 15. This might be from using Xunleashed. I have not done any RvR between the date they said they said I was breaking these rules and of today when I got suspended. So they have to be catching people in other ways besides just belining to people. The most I have been doing for the pass month is leveling artifacts and having my gama hack on so I can see better, no macro's and no radar. We will see in 7 days if they decide to ban me or not. As of right now, all they informed me is that further violation will lead to termination.

Get your facts straight before you flame. Wyv isn't the author of Xunleashed, he's the author of a free plug in for that prgram.

Oh and he is correct, lots of people are still using it. I see them most every day on my radar.

Me and my friends were banned yesterday for using it.

hmmm.... i have a friend that still uses it to this day and he hasnt been banned. We both got on Xunleashed the same time. When new frontiers came out and started to here all the peeps getting banned, I ran like a chicken but my friend did not. The only issue he had was his computer would crash for no odd reason and a errorlog.dump was created (which my friend said). So his theory was mythic, if you were suspected of using 3rd party programs that they would purposely crash you. Which in turn creating this errorlog.dump file which documents what programs you have running during that time. This is coming from my friend i have some knoweldge of computers but not so much in programing. What he did was when it crashed, he litterally unpluged and deleted the errorlog. file and he also tried to disalbe the the errorlog pop. Dont know if he did but hes doing just fine and im trying to get back on so i can start the 2nd Gank Group Muahahahahaha

But from what i've been hearing it was fixed the crash thing anyway...
