Easy Traveling:

There are server lines in the water which you can use to fall down to the bottom. Here you can mount up and travel to whatever land you want at mount speed.

Also you can ofc kill people who are swimming at the surface (alrdy got me one raft:))

Trick:

You have to find a server line which is pretty wide with about 50% of them its possible. float in the water and be still, face down and make sure your crosshair is right on the line, then tab forward untill you fall down. Make sure that fi you start falling you release all buttons otherwise you float back up.

Also make sure the ground under you (ocean floor) is even otherwise you bounce back up.

Have fun

P.S To find your server lines use your mini-map you will see them.

Need some more info to get this to work, I found a server line, but not sure how do you fall? You say Tab forward but think you ment tap forward, tried that and dosn't work. Unless this was fixed recently. Here is a screenshot of what I see.

You are doing it correctly but the server line is to small. Find one who has a bigger space in between.

You can also see on the mini-map if its a wide one or a small one.

This works, but it can be hard to find a working seam and most of the time the bottom of the ocean is uneven. Also when you're underwater and cross other seams the bottom usually rises which makes you go too close to the surface and you end up swimming agian.

Nonetheless, very helpful when it works
