Darkfall Cheats - Varangian Warriors - bugged Mobs : DFO - Cheats / Exploits

This is a somewhat known mob spawn that is mostly known to the alliance on Niflheim (ice island) If you go here at off hours however, you will most likely find the spawn empty.

Mobs drop full plate armor, gold, major pots, and various other things. Very profitable spawn.

Here's what you do. Run to the crack which is circled in the image below. enter from the south and run all the way to the north of the crack as far as you can go. Once you get to the end there's a tunnel that leads to the left. Go in the tunnel and follow the cavern until you come to a bridge crossing which is above the crack you just ran along. Once you get to the bridge, the varangian warriors will aggro you. Pull your shield out and block while standing right next to the edge of the bridge. Once the mobs start to circle you they will walk right to the edge of the bridge, at which point you use your knockback to knock them into the crack below you. You can do this solo but it's much easier with two people. Once you get a warrior knocked into the crack he will be bugged on the terrain. He can not cast or use any ranged, and he also cant climb or move along the terrain well. All you have to do is stay away from them, mana missile, polearm, arrows, whatever you want to use.

That's it, enjoy your full plate, and if an uber macroed clan comes along and blasts your !@#$%^* from here to next tuesday don't come whining to me. I warned you.

As an alternative, bring a few good pvpers with you, murder the nubs camping the spawn naked, and take their 10k gold worth of loot.

Nay - This is common knowledge. You can knock any monster off of a cliff and if the drop is not to far the monster will not despawn.

EDIT: For this specific spot I am unsure if it even works, never been to that exact location

It's not a cliff, it's a very very short drop, and it doesnt bug because of the knockback / drop it bugs because it cant move through the terrain at all. If you get too close to the monsters they will start chasing / attacking you, but as you climb up the sides of the ravine they cant follow, and so they stay right there yelling obscenities at you while you wail on them. Also very important that it's a melee only mob that drops phat loot (full plate armor)

these are the perfect mobs to raise your melee skills on as well. If you position them just right you can go through an entire r0 polearm while killing three of these while they cant attack back. This however takes some finesse and experimentation to get that close without them being able to move / attack you.

And last but not least, it's a fast spawn with multiple mobs at a time, you will never run out of monsters to kill here.
