Bugged Mob Exploit. : DFO - General / Guide - Discussions

Not sure if this has been posted before but if not here is my submission. There is a mob named Hordegaunt located in several location in Darkfall. These mobs do not attack mounted players, they drop 250 gold, rank 50 bows, and rank 40 polearm, leather armor, keys, and various other items. I have farmed them on several occasion in my trips to the north western sub continent (the ice island). I will give you one confirmed coordinates, and will let you know there are at least 4 other locations on the subcontinent. Spawn with 5 mobs 12' 23" W 4' 24"S. According to atlasmap there are 3 locations on the mainland, 6'48W 27'5S, 14'51W 26'30S, and 3'14W 17'31S. Dont get them mixed up with Vilegaunts, as they will attack you on your mount. I have reports that the location in Alfar area has vilegaunts mixed with the hordegaunts, havent tried to exploit them there, but imagine it would be impossible if not just very hard. Be prepared to run/fight for the spawns, large guilds are using these to fund their cities.

Old news and it was fixed about a week or so ago.. Unless they got broken again during this last patch

Anyone test to see if its broke again?

Ah, its very possible that with the latest patch they fixed it, I have not been farming any mobs for over a week. Sorry for posting old news, I did a search and didnt see any info on this.
