New major exploit? 600Pshards, 500 every enchanting mat, 500sel ingots, 500 runestones, etc.

Murmy (Murm Thebloodthirst from THUGS FO LIFE!) on the NA forums has been selling off these nice round numbers of each wanted item in the game. He just referenced Try Hard as if he knew him in clan or in game on the forums. These guys duping? Try Hard had some very shady !@#$%^* going on recently too, changing his name, coming back to full bank of !@#$%^*. He obviously xferred to EU and came back to NA to change his name... or possibly dupe? I know they're selling gold because I actually purchased some from them lol. I just find it difficult to be able to farm 500 of each enchanting mat (even q5... ever try to farm q5 horn??? wtfbbq). I suspect a dupe to be able to get such quantity of these things.

So a player by the name of try hard you believe is duping in the game?

Try Hard is a well known player in TSL that transferred to the EU server and back to the NA server in 1 night to supposedly 'change his name' but when he came back he seemed to have a lot more stuff than he did when he left and Murm is now selling massive amounts of items not easily obtained. The link between this two may be non existent, however I suspect Murm of duping.

Murm spoke as if he knew Try Hard personally on the forums which is why I thought it was really shady Try Hard did that multiple server transfer.

Maybe he moved to that server to obtain some items on the eu servers then back to the NA servers with all his loot. There also might be someone that raided one of the EU servers. Have you checked up to see if any clan on the EU servers lost a ton of loot?

you lose your bank when u transfer and its impossible to transfer items from server to server. So typically you have another char hold your bank or a mule guild bank etc.

Hmm im still iffy on the hack id say its one of these.

1) He did a big trade with people on a certain server.
2) He hacked an account to do some big trades.
3) He bought stuff and doesnt want to own up to it.

I agree with you, I am iffy on the hack. It is shady but haven't heard anything about a dupe lately. If anyone has please post

Yea i have heard nothing as well so we will see if anything comes from it.

So I've heard how / what they did here.

The bug: if you transfer your character off the server, anything you last owned turns into mob dropped armor / weapons with full durability. If you place a bag of all your bank contents from your backpack into the clan bank and then transfer it turns into 'mob dropped' armor / weapons. Becomes 67/67 durability with mob dropped dmg, etc.

This is why Itwas Luck is now Try Hard. He was going for the name change, but he apparently 'duped' a lot of armor and weaps that were about to break and turned them into full dura mob dropped items for TSL.

This does not explain the high number of rare items, but does explain his amount of gear. There may be 1 more part to this bug, which you have to transfer during maintenance hours and transfer back during the downtime as well.

This has been confirmed that the items turn into mob dropped items with full durability. They also lose their enchants.

This is correct, but known since it has been posted on the official Forums.
Also as you mentioned, it doesnt explain the Shards etc.

Well maybe he had someone hand him a ton of stuff right when he did it which duped stuff?
