Yea well if anyone waits for the server reset which seems to happen alot there then be sure to try trading and dropping just a few items so you can see what happens.

If by dropping you mean "drop on the ground" .. You can“t do that in DF.
ALternatively you could drop it in to the Bank .. unless you mean dropping your connection ....

I have been trying to test this without success... as soon as I get a definite answer I will post my findings.

only problem is server down/up is soooo early ;(

Hi, new here. :)

I'll maybe test the delete/crash thing to see if I get any luck with that.. I've managed to cause some weird errors with packet injection so who knows.. if I get anything from it I'll let you know.

I have heard about that exploit.. My initial thought was trading away the gold before confirming but the client restricts that.

This is a wild stab in the dark here but I'm thinking the exploit involves changing the client much like the other hacks out there do. Perhaps AV puts too much faith in 'security by obscurity' and someone has figured out how to stop the client restricting a trade at confirmation.

Just a thought. :)

Well i think packets are just server side so its probably tricking you to think you duped.
