Auction house bot bans : Diablo 3 General Discussions

Apparently there have been several bans due to AH botting. So just a heads up, I'd clear any characters you've botted the AH on ASAP. People that haven't done it in a few weeks are reporting bans as well.

Are these just the auto buy low sell high bots? Any clue how they are detecting it?

Seems to be any autoit, AHK or ACtool bot. I've seen about 30 posts regarding it with legit looking pics of ban emails etc. IRC was all over it earlier.

No definitive answer, but my best guess would be either the refresh rates, or the repeated identical keystrokes. Most of the bots have some bit of randomization/variation in their click patterns so I'm betting it was the rapid refreshes.
