that is true.. the game has the capacity for someone to live in it .. i mean there ARE some people who choose to live inside a game.. i saw 2 friends outside at my work.. (customers) they where dressed acting and had every thing in ever Quest style.. (they where living it) same with eve .. someone can play eve the sec they wake up and start to go to work and start mining and ect.. maybe some adventures till the time they fall asleep on the keyboards and their spit comes out all over the keys
it is kinda a fun game but not for living ,i rather live in World of Warcraft

Cakos, question, what if i told you youcould make enough isk for a BS in 2 days, its quite easy as long as you have 3 friends in BS.. Go find a 250 or 500k spawn and kill kill kill.....They drop items in excess of 30-40 mill each... Dont Quit Eve

two best ways to make Isk...BS spawns and 0.0 mining ops..... I have made over 100M in a weekend at a spawn, but it depends on your luck and which cans you get. Best way to make mucho $$ is mining Ark and Bist.....We cleared 160M in mega/zyd for the last 10 days. This is a 8 member group working as one.

guys guys.. the place i live and started the game is OBE.. that place is one of the best known for pking..i lost over 3 BS in one week in that area.. the area is claimed to be a property of space invadors and empire pirates.. i had alot of adventures and stories.. making connections with pirates, screwing them over(for killing by bs), trying to take over their space single handed, spyed on them, spyed for them .. adventures that no oen ever had, but after a while i saw that i was left with nothing and i couldnt make friends because i was a spy. so basically my whole reputation of my character was ruined and therefore i canont fit back into eve online. guys tell me if tech 2 is out, i might start playing again.. you never know

tech 2 has been out for a while... so are the elite frigs, at least Level 1 frigates are.

Just wanted to add one comment. Sadly, gate camping is becoming more common. However, there is another way to avoid this. If you travel the same stargates often (and you usually at least travel to all those in your home system), during a non-camped period warp to them and fly past them by 15km. Bookmark that location. From that point on whenever you want to jump through that stargate you warp to within 15km of your bookmark which lands you pretty much on top of the gate, you can jump straight away. These are known as Instajumps. Also, useful even when there aren't campers as it alleviates the need to approach a stargate.

Sorry to hear you are leaving Eve Cakos. Have you not tried to join a corp in order to get that team-spirit feeling again. It sounds as though you could bring a lot of useful experience to a pc corp.

yea instwarps are very useful.. i travel a 40 jump route through empire space at least twice a week when i do trade runs, and even with cargo expanders i can fly my bestower along the route in about 50 minutes.

The only bad thing about it is that when going through a camped gate, if the campers happen to have an active stationary warp disrupter, it will pull you out of warp a good ways from the gate, and most likely in fireing range of the campers if they are in battleships. This seems to be pretty rare though and has not happened to me yet (i tested it out with a friendly corp that was camping a gate during a war), and if possible, its always a good idea to scan the gate ahead of you with the range scanner if you are in a non-secure system and there are people in local chat (especially people with a bounty and/or negative security status).

their shields charge 2 fast for that, what i do:
5 people in battleships each with a medium shield transfer array, stay at 60 km. lets them come .
or hide behind a roid fighting guristia bss works great 2 .
that is if you chain them....
your idea about sniping isnt as good as you think sicne the max dmg you can do at that range is only about 1/3rd of what you can normally do closer range.... since with missiles guristia got range is irrelecent, the closer the better
